JOB TITLE: Shop Manager (Hartford)

HOURS: 37.5 hrs hours on a rota 5 days across a trading week, Mon-Sat

Salary: £10.65 per hour

RESPONSIBLE TO: Area Retail Manager

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Head of Retail

We are recruiting for a Shop Manager to manage our high performing Charity Shop in Hartford .

Our trading business is an important part of the income generation and fundraising department and plays a vital role in working in and with our community to ensure we can support the fantastic work carried out at the Hospice.

You will preferably have experience of the charity retail sector or high street retail at unit manager level with an understanding of how a busy retail unit works and bring the skills required to continue the success of the Hartford unit.

You will work closely with the Head of Retail and will focus on sales as well as stock generation and ensuring that every opportunity is taken to ensure our targets are met.

You will manage a large group of volunteers so leadership and people skills are an important skill that will be vital in your success.

Previous knowledge of Gift Aid and Epos till systems would be an advantage.

As unit Shop Manager you will be part of the trading team and will work alongside other team members across trading to help and support the work of the hospice.

St Luke’s is an adult hospice based in Winsford that cares for people in mid and south Cheshire who are suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses. We offer specialist treatment, care, advice and support to many seriously ill people and their families every year.
