Shop Manager - Postgate, Glenrothes
You will be given various shifts - which will change week to week, and will include weekends - between 5:00am and 5pm - any 5 days from 7.

This is an opportunity to support a fast-paced retail operation, where we provide great tasting affordable products to our customers daily. Our shops are the busiest in the early morning and at lunch time.
And the 3 keys to success in this role are;
1. Manage and develop your team to ensure consistent delivery of all company operational standards and customer service standards.
2. Ensure compliance in all areas of legal diligence, hygiene and health/ safety procedures and legislation within your Shop.
3. Embed a profitable sales culture within your shop working within established cost budgets.
You will provide value by being reliable, trustworthy, and positive to every customer and team member, making every moment special. Your customers and colleagues will feel every moment with you is special and will remember the positive impact that you have every day.
- Lead strongly to maintain high standards of behavior and customer and colleague interactions.
- Take responsibility for the scheduling of colleagues for efficient Shop trading.
- Ensure all new starters attend the full induction within first month of employment.
- Conduct relevant reviews on all new employees within 12-week probation period and appropriate reviews as required in your Shop.
- Ensure that all staff are fully aware and deliver on their legal responsibilities.
- Take responsibility for health & safety of colleagues according to company policy and legislation.
- Maintain excellent standards in Shop property, equipment, fixtures, and fittings. Report any issues or defects.
- Ensure that company cash and security regulations are followed.
- Ensure that all legal requirements are followed.
- Ensure only quality product is displayed.
- Maintain stock rotation procedures.
- Keep area manager updated promptly on any business developments.
- Encourage all colleagues to voice and forward ideas to better our business.
Training may be given in one of our other shops.
Travel is paid whilst training in another (local) shop.
