Join our lively and professional team as an Admissions specialist!
We work with future graduates from the UK and internationally, helping them to study at the University of Worcester. You will play a key role in delivering a proactive, efficient and effective service throughout the applicant journey - from application to being admitted as a student at the University.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable colleague to join us on a permanent, full-time contract.
This exciting and varied role will involve providing advice and guidance to prospective applicants and their supporters. You will have specific responsibility for making admissions decisions within pre-agreed frameworks for a range of applications submitted via UCAS and other routes. You’ll also have the chance to help with a range of other activities, including delivering staff training and representing the University at Open Days.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, excellent communicator, adaptable, and have a strong commitment to excellent customer service. You will have experience of working within a busy office environment and be proficient in the MS Office suite. The most desirable attributes are good analytical skills with the ability to investigate anomalies, high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving. Remaining calm and resilient whilst working in a high volume, fast paced environment will be key to success. Managing a timely, efficient and fair process that supports an excellent applicant experience is a key focus for the whole team.
In order to flexibly use resource you may be given the opportunity to work in different areas of the department or the wider Communications, International and External Affairs division.

From 1 August 2023, the salary range for this role will increase to £22,681 - £24,533, with the opportunity to progress to £25,742.
