Job description
Les Fleurs are looking for a 'shop hand' to join their existing team.
Confidence dealing with the public, a high level of care and attention, confident using a computer and any horticultural knowledge advantageous in application, please demonstrate this in your application.
This role is entirely a supporting role. Duties will include tasks such as;
- Pricing incoming stock ready for sale i.e plants
- Pre-cutting cellophanes and preparing other sundries in advance for florists use.
- Cleaning Duties including Hoovering, Mopping and Cleaning down work areas
- Caring For Plants, picking over, watering & rotating stock
- Taking customer orders and answering the phone
18-30 hours per week. Shifts are on a rota basis Monday - Saturday, either 8.30am - 2.30pm, 12.00 - 5.30pm or 8.30am - 5.30pm as needed.
Please note: This is not initially a floristry role, but a supporting role entirely. Candidates that demonstrate the ability to learn the above aspects of the job quickly and with a high level of care and attention will be taught some floristry skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18-30 per week
