Job description
As per 27th of March we will open our first location in Jersey. For our Shop operations at the Jersey location, we are looking for flexible Shop Assistants who want to join our team during the high season!
Are you service-oriented, friendly, and can you determine customers’ need? As a Shop Assistant at the port of Jersey, you'll be part of a team that works together towards an easy and efficient shopping experience. You'll always be ready to lend a helping hand in our Click-and-Collect store!
Reach your full potential as a Shop Assistant
Your responsibility is to pack the customer’s orders in time and hand them over to the customer with a smile. In the Click-and-Collect shop, travellers can buy liquor, perfume and cigarettes Duty-Free.
A few examples of your tasks as a Shop Assistant are:
- Keeping track of the inventory to make sure our stock is always up-to-date
- The inbound of products and goods
- Maintaining an excellent looking warehouse and store
- Preparing the orders which are made in advance by our customers (at least 45 minutes)
- Presenting the orders towards our customers
The port of Jersey is a dynamic environment where the high season mainly lasts from May to September. In other words, this position is for something other than a 9-5 mentality and requires flexibility. The hours will be spread across the week, so there is also irregular work on Saturdays, Sundays and evenings.

You:
- Are looking for a part-time position in which you can work flexible, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends
- Have a good command of the English language
Important details:
- Part time working will usually involve 3 or 4 hours shifts on a varied shift pattern
- All applicants must have proof of 5 Years Residency in Jersey in order to apply You must be aged 18 years or over
