We are looking for a Shop Assistant to join our team and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, helping them find what they need, providing product information, and processing payments. The ideal candidate should have a friendly and outgoing personality, be able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills.
This position is a FULL-TIME position from Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide assistance with product selection.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain the shop floor and stock shelves.
- Ensure the shop is clean and tidy.
- Provide customer service in a polite and friendly manner.
- Answer customer queries and provide advice on products.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and labelled.
You will need:
- A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
- To enjoy being busy as there is always something to do. You’ll jump from putting out deliveries to serving on the till, helping customers on the shop floor, completing important cleaning and stock rotation routines and more!
- To be reliable as you will be an important part of a small team. Your colleagues and customers will depend upon to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
