Salary: £19,383 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 14 per week

Helping people in crisis begins at your local shop. Our shops are home to everything from vintage gems to preloved fashion. You’ll be learning from retail experts and will have endless opportunities to develop. Are you ready to take on this exciting new role? Our team can’t wait to welcome you!

A day in the life of a Shop Assistant will involve:

You will assist the shop manager to run a profitable, customer-focussed shop that is the 'window of the British Red Cross' on the high street.
You will help to create a brilliant shopping environment and provide an excellent customer experience in store.
Working on the shop floor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, operate the till, and create eye-catching displays.
Behind the scenes, you will be responsible for sorting stock and preparing items for display.

To be a successful Shop Assistant, you’ll need:

Previous experience of working in a retail environment and are confident with handling money
To be a strong communicator who thrives on delivering excellent customer service and enjoys meeting lots of different people
Commercial savvy with an understanding of hitting targets
To understand and anticipate each customer's needs and delight them with the service provided
