Hours: 30-hour p/w

Wage: £11.25 starting wage.

We are looking for a hard working, passionate and motivated applicant to assist our customers in enjoying the exciting expansion of our Family Entertainment Centre, "Pins"!

With 6 bowling lanes, premium seating & a cocktail lounge bar at Bowl Central.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to be instrumental in the running of the first Bowl Central location with the second now open and a third planned for later in 2023.

You will be helping to train the Pins team to the highest standards.

Your role with Bowl Central will be essential for the smooth operation of our 6 bowling lanes & bar.

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure that the customers enjoy their unique experience, as well as ensuring that the team are delivering the best service possible by following instructions from the management team.

You must be fully flexible for shift work and able to cover when necessary for team absences, due to the nature of the leisure and tourism industry you will need to be available to work over school holidays.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Supervise the smooth running of the bar & lanes
  • Ensure the venue is open on time and ready for business.
  • Delivery of efficient lane and table service.
  • Ensure excellent front of house service.
  • Ensure the venue is closed down to the correct standards every evening.
  • Stock and Financial control - including the use of the stock back office system, Microtill.
  • Knowledge of till and Cashing up procedures
  • Experience in all aspects of stock control (stock rotation, deliveries, display, wastage etc.)
  • Assist in the training of bar team
  • Outgoing & lively personality, able to build a strong rapport with customers and team members quickly.
  • 2+ year of shift supervisory experience in a popular bar or night club.
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Able to delegate effectively.
  • Open and receptive to new information.
  • Excellent personal hygiene & presentation.
  • Food health & Safety/hygiene
