As a Front Office Shift Leader, you will provide overall supervision of the daily reception operations and support the team to provide a friendly and efficient welcome in a 'world class' manner, helping guests with queries relating to their stay and creating an environment where the guest is put first. You will rely on your previous experience working with Opera to check in/out guests and have the ability to resolve any complaints and maximise all revenue opportunities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure all guests are registered in the most appropriate and efficient manner through a high standard of supervision and administration in line with the laid down departmental standards.
Complete each task on the Reception Shift Leader’s checklist.
To assist in other areas of the Front Office and the Hotel where required.
To carry out all duties relevant to the Reception Shift Leader, pertaining to cash handling, as laid down in the Standard Operating Procedures of the department.
To train, support and review the Guest Service Agents to achieve personal and departmental goals.
Ensure exceptional body language and language used by all team members
In your role it is essential to have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and a drive to excel, ensuring that you promote the hotel’s services.
