We are looking for a Shift Manager to join The Entertainer site in Banbury. Here you’ll be responsible for leading your team to achieve business goals: through focussing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.
This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern, Sunday to Thursday. The hours of work are Sunday 00:00-07:00, Monday - Wednesday 22:00-07:00 and Thursday 22:00-06:30.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £36,400 per annum, there is an additional shift premium (payable for shifts worked) of up to 12% of basic salary. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse on your shift, you’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve targets- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to fully understand our customer and company requirements, incorporating them into all planning and reporting tools, activities and projects
- Ensure a complete and exceptional service is provided to the customer and lead activities to achieve business goals, through focussing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture
- With good understanding of health & safety you’ll strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A proven track record as a leader within a fast-paced warehouse environment, able to inspire, motivate and engage with your team using a variety of communication methods- The ability to effectively lead, develop and manage your team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success
- Displays resilience and a determination to succeed in a challenging environment
- Excellent systems knowledge as well as be confident on all Microsoft packages particularly Excel
