About us

ACE Coffee Roasters is a coffee roaster and retailer located in Edmonton, Alberta. ACE coffee roasters supply various coffee blends and origins to homes and cafes within western Canada. Our vision is to be Canada's most respected coffee roaster by being an active educator through online courses, in-person courses, accessories sales, and other coffee-focused education. We intend to open successful coffee bars and roasteries across Western Canada to succeed in that goal.

At ACE Coffee Roasters, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned coffee bar and assisting your colleagues as needed. In addition, this role is to help meet our important quality policies to produce and achieve success.

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to ensure that all customers receive an excellent level of service at all times. You will assign tasks to employees and monitor how they perform, with the objective to ensure quality products and provide first class service. As a Shift Manager, you should have good organizational skills and be able to manage time effectively. A Shift Supervsior should have good communication skills in order to resolve any issues or problems regarding customer service, as well as work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure every guest at your cafe has only a positive experience, and continually find ways to provide service consistent with our quality policy that promises a beautiful and pleasant experience.
  • Ensure we always meet our high-quality standards for every drink served through precision and commitment to our beverage integrity quality policy.
  • Maintain the inventory at your coffee bar at the direction of your manager to ensure the coffee bar does not run out of milk, cream, and other necessities.
  • You identify and report areas of improvement that we can solve through training and updating documentation.
  • Expect to be measured on success through the frequency of issues of non-conformance related to service and product quality, which include, but are not limited to, customer complaints, loss of sales, and loss of reputation.
