We are currently seeking a enthusiastic Shift Engineer to join our team here at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah.
Situated in the heart of Knightsbridge, one of London’s most exclusive neighborhoods, and towering high over a world- class shopping destination, Sloane Street, The Carlton Tower Jumeirah is a beacon of sophistication where heritage meets contemporary luxury. About the role
As a Shift Engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance of our newly refurbished hotel, in both guest and employee areas. You will be working alongside other talented Maintenance technicians and Technical service engineers to ensure the smooth running of the hotel and have the opportunity to excel in the performance of your craft within a luxurious hotel. As a Hotel Engineer you will be responsible for all areas of the hotel including the electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems. This is an exciting opportunity for our Maintenance engineers/Shift Engineers to carry out repairs to the building and put their attention to detail to a truly rewarding challenge.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
- Ideally experience in a similar position within a luxury 5 star environment is desirable
- Excellent level of English
- Excellent communicator and able to connect with all levels in the business with the ability to motivate your colleagues.
- Effective organisational skills; able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a workload
- Excellent personal presentation with a warm and welcoming personality.
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- Have a strong eye for detail
