Our client who is based in Pyle Bridgend is looking to recruit a SHEQ Administrator on a permanent basis.
Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 depending on experience

Sick pay - 10days full sick pay after 1 year of consistent service and 15days full pay after 2 years of service
Laptop will be supplied
Working hours 37.5 per week (flexi hours)
Main Duties to include
Quality System:
Maintain the Integrated Management System ensuring all ISO documentation is up to date, is reviewed on time, and is issued to all relevant personnel.
Ensure all required internal audits are completed and all actions are closed out.
Prepare and aid site for annual external audit visit.
Raise Non-conformance and Corrective Action reports follow up with investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
Transition customer complaints into Group CRAM system.
Health & Safety
Collaborating with supervisors & operators on the shopfloor to improve H&S and reduce the risk of accidents/incidents.
Conduct internal training for internal employee's as and when required.
Participate in weekly/monthly meetings with head office and other sites around the world on H&S topics and occasionally present H&S themes for local site.
Ensure any, and all, accident and incident investigations are driven to conclusion and closed out.
Maintain COSHH and Risk Assessment logs and ensure these are reviewed appropriately.
Ensure health checks for new employees are completed and that bi-annual health checks for employees are conducted.
Environment
Maintain system for recording site effluent results and prepare for quarterly/annual reporting into Group systems.
Maintain system for recording and reporting the results required by the environmental agency to fulfil permit requirements.
Skills and experience required
2-5 years' experience of SHEQ Administration/officer is essential
Basic understanding of Health and Safety legislative requirements
Able to build relationships internal and external customers
Good knowledge and experience with all Microsoft packages
