They are a leading set production company supplying set and decoration to a wide range of product launches, fashion shows, exhibitions, and private events They primarily provide design, scenery, lighting and AV for a wide range of events.
We are looking for a creative individual able to design and bring together clients concepts. Ideally you will have a specific interest and want to work within influencer and brand aware activations.
The principal focus of this position is to design and produce innovative, eye catching and memorable sets for the wide range of events mainly but not limited to the field of product launches and influencer events.
You need to have an understanding of social media and branding and be able to interpret brand styles accurately.
The postholder will be required to take client briefs, design, visualise and plan the production. Client negotiation, budgeting and crew management are an important part of the role. We expect a strong level of technical knowledge and on site experience. Our competent logistics team and crew provide assistance and back up to what is a demanding and busy role.

Role Summary:
Ensure smooth running of assigned projects from initial design to the set up and breakdown process
Liase with clients; develop client’s ideas and requirements into creative quotes and drawing, respond to clients’ changing needs; problem solve.
Create or be able to brief visualiser where client requires visuals for a quote.
Liase with Technical Director where lighting design is required on a project.
Source materials, with an emphasis on finding materials and props that are the closest fit to requirement and the most cost-effective.
Manage schedules for timely production, delivery and breakdown of sets in liaison with Office Assistant and Logistics.
Manage the production of sets in liaison with Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor and freelance staff and with an awareness of the needs of other Project Managers.
Manage budgets; maintain budgets sheets, use staff and resources efficiently and effectively.
Quality Control; monitor the work of freelance workers.
Undertake site visits as required.
Have a working knowledge of health and safety requirements related to sets and materials used.
Provide Method Statements and risk assessments for Clients when requested based upon company H&S policy and documents.
The holder of this post and the nature of our industry means that unsociable hours including evenings and weekends will be required on occasion.
The successful candidate will be-
A good administrator with management experience
Have a good knowledge of set build practice
Be able to use design software such as Sketch up pro, Auto CAD, Adobe creative suite.
Have a knowledge and interest in social media
