2 x 3 hours, Pop n Drop, Park End, Wednesdays
1 x 3 hours, North Ormesby, Thursdays
Salary: £11/hour
We have a number of vacancies for sessional youth workers to support our provision in different parts of Middlesbrough, at a number of projects. We are looking for sessional youth workers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. Confident in the delivery of youth work, you will be committed to improving young people’s lives, and working with them to address their concerns and needs.
North Ormesby
Positive Pathways North Ormesby provides a safe space for young people aged 10 to 18 to develop friendships and life skills in an informal educational manner. We deliver themed sessions around the personal challenges young people face and which they identify as being important to them, including: deprivation, mental health, employability, risk taking behaviour and improving their physical activity.
Tommys Thorntree
Our offer provides a safe space for young people aged 10 to 18 to develop friendships and life skills within the Thorntree Ward. Our sessions are themed around topics that are important to them such as the importance of a healthy lifestyle, cooking workshops, positive emotional wellbeing, isolation and loneliness and social action.
Pop n Drop
Pop n Drop is our pop up youth provision. This project provides new and fun experiences through open access, utilising green spaces across Middlesbrough, for young people to explore opportunities, raise their aspirations, be positively challenged and supported to be the decision makers of their own pathway.
