Summary of Role

Do you have a passion for education with plenty of enthusiasm to develop and inspire the next generation?

We are looking for a keen enthusiastic individual to join our pool of sessional staff, offering the opportunity to deliver across art and graphics-based disciplines. The ideal candidate will be confident in teaching photoshop/illustrator, and have experience with digital art.

Our Creative Arts curriculum area offers a range of courses from Level 1 to Level 3. Including Art, Design, Fashion, Photography, 3D Architecture and Digital Art.

As a Sessional Lecturer in Creative Arts, you should:

  • Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Creative Arts or a relevant discipline
  • Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one
    Be able to evidence continuing professional development

Ideally you should also be able to demonstrate:

  • Industry Expertise in Creative Arts
  • Experience of teaching Creative Arts related courses to a range of levels
  • Experience of teaching a range of learners from 16-19 years and adults from a wide range of social and ethnic backgrounds
