Responsibilities
Provides quality, effective, reliable, and responsive ITS service support to FSU Students, Faculty and Staff regarding their computing needs.Preforms routine tasks in high level and secure systems. Configures, maintains, troubleshoots, or modifies computer, software, hardware, multimedia equipment, and related devices. Initiates routine diagnostics to determine cause of equipment or software failure and follows standard procedures for problem resolution. Installs and customizes application software.
Performs other duties as assigned. A State vehicle, golf cart, or utility vehicle will be used to reach site premises. A valid driver's license will be needed in order to operate a vehicle.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience or an equivalent combination of post high school education and experience.
Customer Service experience
Managing directory services
Position requires a Class E Driver's License.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and MacOS.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 installation and troubleshooting
Experience with Email Client configuration i.e., Outlook, Thunderbird, Macintosh Mail.app etc.
Basic network configuration and troubleshooting skills required.
Experience with computer operations, functions, and related peripherals
Experience with documenting processes (new and existing).
Experience prioritizing, organizing and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Experience working successfully in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of managers and subject matter experts.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic Scripting experience
Multi factor authentication service support and configuration.
VoIP endpoint configuration and support.
Virtual environment support and configuration.

What is a typical day in this position?
Assisting with the ATS case load (specially tier 1/lower tier 2), working on documentation alongside the team lead, providing remote and hands-on support when necessary.
