The Role
As a member of the UKI Cluster People & Culture team, the role holder will be a key change agent and will support the P&C director in deploying the transformation agenda in the cluster, with a specific focus to the P&C transformation journey, while supporting the rest of the business with their own transition.
They will also be responsible for driving and implementing P&C projects and initiatives, in line with the cluster strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Key contributor to implement the P&C transformation, acting as a change manager
- Support the on-going business transformation
- Manage specific P&C projects
**Please note this is a 12 month fixed term opportunity and you will be required to be on-site in Bristol 2 days per week*
Principal Accountabilities
- Change manager to enable P&C transformation journey
- Understand the scope of the transformation and create a Cluster transformation plan including communication and change plan
- Support the development and implementation of change management strategies to deliver business objectives, focusing on the people side of change.
- Drive change and adoption work to enable successful transition for all employees to new P&C op model, including optimised technology, processes and organisational design.
- Manage communication within P&C to ensure all relevant information is shared in a timely manner
- Support design and delivery of any training to P&C or to the wider business.
- Participate skills and capabilities framework design and roll out
- Coordinate communication and change initiatives with Group P&C to leverage synergies where relevant and ensure alignment across the organisation
- Drive test and learn initiatives when required at a transition stage
- Coach and guide leaders and managers to adapt to changes and ensure any rationale for change is understood and consistently communicated across the cluster.
- Participate to all meetings and workshops related to the transformation and build good working relationship with Global Transformation team.
- Support Business transformation
- Monitor and coordinate the transition plan with the different workstreams in each Function (currently Finance and Supply Chain)
- Manage communication plan to Cluster stakeholders are informed of the major steps and impact of the transformation
- Support the business with Change Impact assessments, Training need analysis and Organisational design
- Drive and implement P&C projects and initiatives (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; EVP; Job catalogue; Office redesign)
- Develop and structure the project plan for cluster initiatives
- Participate and influence Group projects as a representative for the cluster
- Lead the execution of the project within plan, resources, and budget
- Facilitate or attend project meetings, webinars and workshops, and share information and updates with the P&C team, as well as other cluster relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor project activities and escalate when needed
- Provide on-demand support to P&C Director UKI (i.e.: Develop high-quality slides and reports)
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- 5 years’ experience in a HR Business Partner/Adviser role in multinational FMCG sector
- Proven experience managing end-to-end change management programs, ideally gained within another similar large matrix organisation
- Commercial thinking combined with organisational awareness
- A passion for project management and an understanding of the complexities that come with this and how to effectively manage the people impacts.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of change management principles and methods would be beneficial.
- Experience working on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives would be a plus.
