The Firm
A niche leading firm specialising in the defence of serious crime have successfully won a legal aid contract to expand in to 7 major cities given their current success in the midlands, there couldn’t be a better time to join the firm at this extremely exciting milestone in their journey. They are frequently instructed to represent and defend in extremely serious cases, involving some of the most notorious crimes prosecuted in recent times and quite often cases attracting national notoriety.
The Position
The firm are looking to support the recent hiring of a number of criminal defence solicitors with the addition of police station representatives for any of their offices to ensure full support for the growing teams.
The successful police station representative will be expected to manage their own time effectively and deal with calls from the DSCC, respond to clients in a timely manner, cover the duty phone at unsociable hours and ensure all administration is completed to a requisite standard and time frame.
Requirements
· The ideal Police Station Representative will have police station accreditation and be willing to participate in out of hours police station rota
· You must be able to work under minimal supervision
· Manage your own time effectively, with initiative and discipline
· Driving licence and own transport is required
· Able to adapt to the ever changing demands of the role
Benefits
· Salary £25,000 - £35,000
