SERVICE MANAGER (SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION)
Service Manager.
To manage the day to day running of a semi-independent supported accommodation for young people (Care Leavers).
You will be expected to:
Essential:
· Experience of working with leaving care children/ vulnerable young people.
· Experience of managing a supported living accommodation
Responsibilities:
· Promote a vibrant culture with an uncompromising commitment to excellence and fully integrated support and development services.
· Reflect the needs of those accessing the service.
· Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with all local stakeholders including commissioners, providers, local community groups and young people.
· At least 2 years’ experience managing/leading a team effectively in a supervisory role
· Ability to work using own initiative and as a team member under pressure in a professional manner
· The ability to manage challenging situations
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Complete and pass any mandatory training and pursue professional development
· Ability to organise and prioritize effectively
· Promote independence
· Clarity of thought
· Enthusiastic and motivated
· Pro-active in development of the service.
