Housing Services Manager- Homes and Community Department, Trident Group

37.5 hours per week
£37,689.15 per annum plus essential car user allowance

The Group consists of;
- Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance
- Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.
About the role
The Homes and Communities Department is currently recruiting to the key role of Housing Services Manager. This role will support to deliver our ambitious Homes and Communities Strategy and further develop the outcomes from the associated Action Plan. The successful candidate will deliver a person-centred approach to line managing a team of Housing Officers and Team Supervisors who will work positively with residents from their first point of engagement at property viewing and occupancy sign up stage through to delivering quality tenancy audits, well-being checks and on-going engagement to empower and support residents to not only meet their tenancy obligations but also to be active within their communities.
The role requires collaborative working across all departments within Trident Group including Allocations and Lettings, Income Management, Technical Services and Community Safety and Inclusion to ensure that we deliver a quality service to our customers. The successful candidate will need confidence to represent the organisation at external meetings such as those with Local Authorities, new development meetings, resident meetings and so on, holding others to account where actions and outcomes are agreed.
About You
- You will have a minimum of three years’ experience of a working in the housing sector.
- You will have an infectious passion for social housing and an enthusiasm for your own career development and that of your team.
- It is essential that you have good communication skills and a ‘can do’ approach to working positively with our residents/customers, internal and external stakeholders and forging new partnerships to address key issues and achieve agreed outcomes
- You will be a strong and motivated leader, able to work under your own initiative, organising your workload to meet goals and KPIs that are set.
- You will manage performance across all of our housing stock patches.
