Job description
Site Services Manager
The role of Site Services Manager is based at our Value Added Thetford site and reports directly to our Head of Engineering.
It is a Mon - Fri role, contracted to 40hours per week with a Salary band of £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits.
Main ResponsibilitiesManaging on-site services, including sourcing and overseeing contracts and service providers for refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical power, compressed air, steam generation, water treatment, effluent handling, buildings, roadways, etc. ·
- Advising businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility
- Ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained and conducting proactive maintenance ·
- Planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements ·
- Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects ·
- Drafting maintenance reports
- The successful candidate will be Time Served Apprentice trained or equivalent with experience in a Senior Engineering Management position. ·
- Working knowledge of steam pressure systems, management trained and exposure to the management of Ammonia and F-gas refrigeration plants. ·
- Experience managing water systems from both treatment/dosing, compliance (e.g. Legionella) and effluent treatment perspectives desirable ·
- Experience with civil and structural maintenance of building fabric and structures · IOSH/NEBOSH trained ·
- Experience of budgetary controls
