Service Lead Supervisor
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Service Lead Supervisor to join our Team based at Essar Oil Refinery, Ellesmere Port.
The role will be to support the delivery of the industrial services provision as part of the FM contract scope of works in a safe and efficient manner. The role will include the management of the Flexible Labour Operatives to support day to day operations, projects and emergent requirements.
More about the role:Duties include:
- Health & Safety - Deliver front line leadership of Health & Safety to the Flexible Labour team and other employees including delivering Toolbox talks and supporting team members welfare.
- Scope of works – the Service Lead must organise and execute the scope of works to the highest standard
- Team management – The Service Lead is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the Flexible Operative workforce and make any adjustments as required to deliver the scope of works. Must be able to work independently and as part of team.
- Labour Productivity – To ensure that 14forty Flexible Labour Team are carrying out tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performance Reporting – To support the reporting element of the project in tracking progress made against overall project plan.
- Management and Co-Ordination of the Authorised Gas Testing scope of works and the Flexible Labour Team - Ad-Hoc Labour Duties
Essential Role Requirements/Skills:
The Service Lead must demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the following:
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Site knowledge of Stanlow Manufacturing
- Display a responsible, flexible can-do approach to work duties with a passion to provide high standards
- To be polite, professional and friendly at all times with customers, clients and colleagues
- Liaise with the operating team to ensure they are aware of any operating conditions in the area which may affect the job
- Intervene, when necessary, upon observation of unsafe acts or conditions.
- Ensure compliance of the work party with the site Health, Safety and Environment management system
- There will be a requirement from time to time to work extended hours and shift work for special projects and turnarounds
- Must attend 14forty toolbox talks and Engagements sessions
- Informing the client and Labour Manager of any activities not covered under the provided documentation
- Liaising with client’s representative before commencing work to ascertain work requirements and issues on the plant
