We have an opportunity for a Service Engineer – PAVA to join our team in Wembley. This is a very exciting role working on the world-famous Wembley Stadium. You will be responsible for carrying out day to day PPM and repairs of the Public Address and Voice Alarm system, and providing Event Day Technical Support and Operation.
Service Engineer - PAVA responsibilities
- Provide consultation to clients Facilities Management and Project teams
- Assist Honeywell Account Manager with system life cycle and future works proposals
- Assist other Honeywell engineers when required with Fire, Access Control, CCTV and IT systems repairs/servicing
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Voice Alarm Maintenance/Servicing, Repair and Installation work
- Experienced in fault investigational work
- Knowledge of BS5839 Part 8
- IT Literate & Understanding of IT Networking Fundamentals
- Understanding of acoustics
- Understanding of basic electronics
- Understanding of BS7827
- Understanding of Peavey MediaMatrix Systems (Peavey Nware software & NION n3 and n6 Hardware)
- Previously worked with Professional Audio Equipment (preferably Yamaha Mixers, amplifiers (Crown), d&b audio R1 software and hardware
- Understanding of Professional Line Array Systems (preferably d&b audio)
- Understanding of CobraNet and or Dante
- Previous work with Intellivox beam steerable column speakers
- Python 2 scripting
- Understanding of IT Cyber Security
- Understanding of Voice Alarm Design
- Understanding of wireless Radio Microphones systems (preferably Sennheiser em300 G2)
- Reading Technical Drawings (System and Speaker Circuit Schematics)
- IPAF and or PASMA certification
