SERVICE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE – GENERAL MEDICINE AND INFLAMMATION

What you will do
Let’s do this. In this vital role you will work on supporting the delivery, implementation, optimisation and tracking of patient support programmes including Homecare drug delivery and patient nurse support services, developed in conjunction with Healthcare Professionals and third-party providers to meet the needs of patients and the NHS.
Reporting to the Service Development Manager (SDM) for General Medicine and Inflammation, this new role sits in the General Medicine and Inflammation Business Unit.
- Support of the SDM in the preparation, delivery and tracking of Patient Support programmes, tailored to the needs of UK&IE HCPs and patients
- Identify new and leverage existing insights (both internal and external) to support SDM in the redesign or enhancement of programmes to ensure programmes are relevant to UK NHS stakeholder and patient needs
- You will be a supportive partner with the SDM and cross functional brand teams to ensure that our “beyond the molecule” patient and service offerings add value to HCP’s, patients and the wider NHS whilst also ensuring that they ensure that we compete and/or differentiate Amgen.
- Support of key NHS stakeholders as identified and appropriate, across all General Med and Inflammation Brands. This would include homecare pharmacists, Amgen field teams, where appropriate NHMC members, NCHA and ABPI Homecare Network groups, including any other identified groups.
- Support in the day to day management of all third-party providers who provide Patient Support Programmes. Monthly touch points with each vendor are governed and driven by the agenda and action trackers.
- Prepare and update a patient and supply forecast and link in with the SDM and third-party providers.
- Gather and drive key insights internally on the NHS funded service offerings through field team insights and leveraging third party relationships (where appropriate)
- Support the SDM in partnering with the Brand Teams, the cross functional brand team, and third-party providers
- Preparation, update, deliver and track the monthly data KPIs from third party vendors to ensure a high-quality service is being commissioned by Amgen.

Full admin responsibility for the following:
- Invoice validation
- Third party training records
- Veeva PSP repository including file locations and file names
- BOX folder management
- Action trackers for each PSP
- Provide any derived insights from Patient Support programmes to the SDM in support of the Brand Teams to drive strategy and brand plans.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Demonstrated self-starter with ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Knowledge of and/or experience of working with or in the Homecare (which covers home delivery and nurse administration/training and/or patient support programmes) environment
- Excellent IT skills, ideally experience Veeva Promo Mats, Tableau etc but not essential
- Basic awareness/understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry including understanding of ABPI Code of Practice
- Clear communication style that will inspire and direct teams
