My client is looking for an IT Support Engineer to support IT service tasks to internal and external customers across their UK wide business.

My client is a technology and engineering consultant who supply their clients with complex engineering solutions across the defence and National Security industries.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must hold an active DV clearance and will be based full time on-site in my clients Southampton office.

• Function as 2nd line support and service engineer, responding to 1st line support or escalating tickets to 3rd line support when necessary.
• Perform PC build and fault finding/troubleshooting as required.
• Complete Issue resolution (hardware and software) across user platforms.

• Experience in the majority of the following tools:
  • Active Directory
  • Hardware build and software install
  • Microsoft Windows Desktop (Win10) and Server
  • Linux
  • SCCM
  • Work on end point security (anti-virus etc)
  • Mobile telephone commissioning and support
  • Wired and wireless switches
