The primary role as a breakfast/brunch chef / CDP is to oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of the meals in our eatery.
Duties associated with this role will be including: assisting other team members in their sections in preparing, cooking and presenting flavoursome dishes; enforcing health and hygiene standards in the kitchen and troubleshooting any problems that may occur.
Responsibilities
· Preparing, cooking and presenting delicious dishes
· Managing and training any comis working with you
· Helping the other team members to develop new dishes and menus
· Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
· Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
· Ordering Stock for the kitchen
· Stock taking
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
· Excellent knife handling skills
· Excellent multitasking skills
· Ideally 1 year of Work experience in a professional kitchen
· Experience in breakfast/brunch food cooking
· Being able to work well under fast paced kitchen environments
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 45-50 per week
Salary: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
