This position is located within the Wicomico County Local Management Board and is Grant Funded & Contractual with no benefits.
The Supported Education Transition Coordinator will support the Supported Education Program by working with all current and prospective students returning from incarceration to provide case management services along with career and educational planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in education, social work, psychology, human services, public health, or related field. 1 to 3 years of professional work in the fields mentioned above. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, ability to communicate concisely in both written and oral format. Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff, departments, outside agencies, and the general public. Must be a team player; Ability to work with other community leaders; Conflict resolution skills; and Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Possession of a valid driver’s license. Must pass background and drug testing.
Special Requirements:
This position will work in collaboration with Wor-Wic Community College Continuing Education and Workforce Development program.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55,000.00 per year
