Parts Advisor

£26,000.00+ per year (subject to suitability of experience)
Role overview
Platts are looking for a Parts Advisor to professionally operate within the Parts Department and to order, receive, administrate, control and issue parts.
Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a Parts Advisor will be to:
· Process requests / orders for spare parts
· Raise invoices and receive payment for parts
· Process special orders and to communicate on lead time, actual delivery and price with the customer / department concerned
· Book parts out of stock
· Carry out administrative tasks relating to stock movement and sales
· Sell parts
· Undertake housekeeping and other duties relating to health and safety policy
· Maintain an awareness of stock security
· Secure and label all warranty parts
· Return parts in accordance with manufacturer instructions
· Perform other duties in support of other team members as required
