A bit about us:
Norton Way Group has been in industry since 1989 and motorbike business 2006. We are a multi-franchise business, with 10 sites across London, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire, with over 400 staff and continuously growing.
Norton Way Group acquired the Peugeot franchise in 1993 and has seen the continual growth and development on the site.
We welcomed Norton Way Citroen Aftersales to our group which is based at our established Norton Way Peugeot dealership. Peugeot and Citroen both belong to the successful Stellantis group after taking ownership from the previous PSA Groupe.
What you will be doing:
Arranging customer bookings for the workshop, record and communicate authority for any extra work required or parts to be ordered or fitted- Understand the customer needs and correctly interpret instructions
- Assist with planning the forward capacity of the workshop, monitoring all work to ensure that it is completed by the times required
- Check, inspect and test incoming and outgoing vehicles and work including acting as quality controller, as required
- Ensure that work done, parts and consumables used and tests carried out are accurately recorded on the job card/repair order. Cost the work and raise invoices
What we need for you:
A full driving licence is essential- Experience of working within an automotive service department is essential
- Outstanding communication skills, both in person and on the telephone
- High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Strong Organisational skills and able to follow strict procedures
- Smart appearance
