Graduate Apprenticeship – Continuous Improvement


Applications are invited for an Engineering, Design and Manufacture Graduate Apprenticeship scheme.


The Graduate Apprenticeship scheme is for someone who does not already have a degree or has been working for several years and would like to retrain while gaining a valuable qualification.

The Graduate Apprentice will be responsible for co-facilitating continuous improvement work sessions that lead teams through rapid improvement events to address strategic projects or value stream initiatives. The Graduate Apprentice will work directly with production teams to support a work culture that empowers individuals to relentlessly pursue waste elimination.


The successful candidate will be given projects to undertake as part of their employment while applying the skills and knowledge acquired through their study. They will normally spend four days per week at work and one day per week developing their skills at university. The work you do counts towards your qualification of a BEng(Hons) Degree.


Entry requirements:


  • A Modern or Foundation Apprenticeship in a relevant area and Higher math’s and a science or engineering higher (physics is preferred) or
  • 4 X B at Higher level including math’s and a science or engineering Higher (physics is preferred)


Applicants should be committed to a further education programme of continuous learning both on site at Halliburton and at Dundee University.
