Job description
An opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join our successful parts department at Lloyd Ltd Bishop Auckland.
This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor, or an individual looking for their first role in the industry as full training can be provided.
The successful applicant will support our internal and external customers by selling, providing, and advising on parts for our range of machinery. Playing a key role within the business, this role will involve working alongside our busy workshop to assist with their work, whilst also serving and supporting our new and regular over-the-counter customers.
Job Role
- Dealing with internal and external customers queries, both face to face and over the telephone.
- Warehousing parts stock and monitoring stock levels.
- Quoting prices and availability of parts stock.
- Checking all parts and accessories are in good order on receipt from suppliers.
- Supporting the Parts Department to deliver objectives and reach targets.
- Ensuring all parts and accessories are correctly stored and located and appropriate housekeeping standards are met.
Job Criteria
- Excellent customer service skills (essential).
- Experience in a parts department (desirable).
- Experience within the agricultural, construction or groundcare/lawncare sectors (desirable).
- Motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- IT literate.

Contract Type - Permanent
Working Hours – 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis, with additional overtime also available.
