Job Purpose:
Working in a friendly team to provide a high level of customer service, assisting with enquiries, concerns and requests about orders and products.

Working Hours:
Working hours differ across periods of the year to meet customer demand.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Process website orders with suppliers, actively seeking alternatives whereby items are unavailable.
  • Deal directly with customers predominately by email, responding promptly to all enquiries in a professional manner.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve any stock issues.
  • Provide customers with pricing and delivery information.
  • Handle and resolve any customer issues.
  • Organise workload to meet customers’ demands.
  • Following Company Procedures.
  • Process a variety of payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, cheques and purchase orders.

Education and Experience:
Please note your application will only be considered if you have achieved the below:

  • Educated to GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.
  • College / University education, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a customer service orientated environment which involved some telephone work.
  • Previous experience in an administration role would be beneficial.

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Computer literate, including typing skills.
  • Good sense of personal initiative; the ability to follow given procedures and guidelines in conjunction with personal problem solving skills to resolve issues.
  • Ability to work independently but also actively participates in the team. Shares information and supports other team members. Is a positive member of the team with a positive outlook.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Grammatically correct both in the verbal and written form.
  • Good memory.
  • High degree of self-motivation.
  • Can-do attitude with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen interest in sport is beneficial but not essential.
