Job description
This is an opportunity to work in a varied finance role with a friendly, busy team at Oxford University Science Park, Begbroke.
You will be responding to enquiries, providing advice on financial policies and procedures, ensuring financial transactions are recorded and processed accurately, preparing invoices, maintaining and checking records, raising purchase orders and maintaining good relationships with key suppliers and the University’s central and divisional finance offices.
Occasional reception cover will be required. You will have the opportunity to assist with events on site and other administration duties as and when required.
You will possess a high attention to detail and be able to organise your own workload whilst working to deadlines. You should be competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, excel) and databases and have experience of financial administration. Previous experience of using Oracle is an advantage but training will be provided.
