Customer Service Administrator
Overnight Parcel Department,
Newbury Office
Swift Logistics Group, one of Newbury’s largest employers and the largest independent courier company in the South of England, has, over recent years, coordinated significant growth of their Logistics Division’s across the UK; we are currently looking for candidates that want to join a well- established and professional overnight parcel delivery company based at our head office in Newbury. You will be working for a very friendly and supportive company with many opportunities to progress within the business for the right candidate.
Job Description:
The job role includes the following –
- Answering telephones
- Responding to clients’ enquiries via email
- Following up on customer’s parcel delivery issues
- Dealing general administration issues, such as invoice queries, hub fines,
- Hours of work are flexible, to be agreed, between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00hrs., working a minimum 8hr day.
Candidate requirement:
- The ideal candidate will need to work well under pressure, working within a very fast paced environment which is deadline driven
- Ability to multi-task
- Have a ‘Can-Do’ attitude and be willing to go the extra step to achieve customer satisfaction
- Must be a strong team player but also work well using their own initiative
- Good communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- The candidate will ideally have experience in the parcel and logistic industry but this is not essential as full training will be provided
