We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Assistant to join the QC Department.

The successful applicant will primarily work in our Neilson Square Warehouse 37.5 hours per week
(shifts/ hours negotiable).

The Role
The role involves the following duties and responsibilities:

• Checking incoming goods for quality
• Examining and analysing worn returns
• Highlighting problem suppliers
• Processing odds, matching them up and re-issuing where possible
• Examining and analysing unworn returns and carrying out repairs where possible
• Liaising with suppliers to organise swift uplifting/despatch of faulty goods
• Maintaining the Department to a high standard
• Working between both J4 and Neilson Square sites

The Person
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:

• Excellent communication skills
• Confidence and ability to feel comfortable in a variety of environments
• A good eye for detail
• Ability to work on own initiative

Neilson Square is the home of our original warehouse and distribution centre, as well as many head office functions. Situated in Livingston, our site is in-between Edinburgh and Glasgow and very easily reached by car and public transport.
