The Job:
In this role you will be a first point of contact and provide outstanding customer services support to all Muntons plc customers, agents and distributors. You will also provide administrative support to our global team of sales managers and assist with the complaints process.
Key Duties:
- Receive and process orders from customers, agents and distributors on our SAP S4Hana system for both export and domestic customers.
- Liaise with our logistics partner to book deliveries worldwide.
- Complete customs entries on Descartes e-Customs (HM Customs) after details have been received from the freight forwarder.
- Apply for and process all the necessary external documentation (Certificates or Origin/Phytosanitary etc).
- Prepare and issue final documentation for customers.
- Liaise with the warehouse and planning teams to ensure that the customer receives their order in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Actively communicate with customers to ensure they are made aware of any changes relating to their orders/delivery and to support on-going sales.
- Issue credit and debit notes for customers as and when required
- Carry out all ad hoc aspects of customer administration.
- Raise customer complaints through SAP and manage complaints from approval to resolution.
- Provide timely updates to customers during complaint investigations and act as a link between internal departments and the customer.
- Provide sales data by customer for sales manager.
- Assist in the handling of all enquiries from customers, agents and distributors.
- Provide cover for team members whilst on holiday or during sickness and encourage team working.
- Proactively assist and support other members of the team.
- Proactively recommend improvements, which contribute to improved customer service and team effectiveness.
The Candidate:
- Thrive on working in a busy office environment with a key focus on customer service.
- Have a minimum of three years working in an office environment.
- Experience of export shipping documentation.
- A confident and proactive communicator via telephone and e-mail.
- A good team player.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the demands of this busy role
- Friendly and professional.
- Well organised and have the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Computer literacy with SAP experience and export are preferential.
