Salary: £22,000 to £25,000

Contract: Full-time and Permanent.

Hours: Working 40 hours a week average -Monday to Friday

About us:

Carbase is a family-owned business that over the last 20 years has grown into the largest independent pre-owned dealership in the South West.

We’re now looking for a hands-on, talented administrator to join us on site at our Avonmouth Preparation Centre, the integral forefront of our business.

It’s a growing site and already a busy environment, where thousands of cars come through as we get them prepped and prepared to the Carbase standard.

Here you’ll act as a support and liaison between the parts department and service technicians working in the garage. Working within a small team to provide technicians with accurate repair descriptions and detailed paperwork once repairs are completed.

As a Service Administrator:

• You’ll be liaising with our technicians to provide vehicle updates and ensure that vehicles will be ready on time.
• Handling parts ordering to ensure requisite parts are available when required, and communicate any time restrictions in timely manner
• Update and complete job sheets for every vehicle including service details, MOT’s, completed repair work.
• Ensure all mechanical work is requested, approved and invoiced for our leasing car company customer
• Ensure the vehicle documentation is accurate and all work carried out is detailed
• Ensure correct input, maintenance and retrieval of any data

To be a Service Administrator with us you’ll need:

• A good standard of English and Maths: GCSE Level C and above, or equivalent qualification
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to prioritise workloads adopt a hands-on approach
• Practice of meeting deadlines and working under pressure
• Proficient in use of Word, Excel and Outlook
• One Link experience would be beneficial
• Able to work under data protection regulations and awareness of GDPR
• And have a good eye for detail
