An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join the Specialised Eating Disorder Service at Blackberry Hill Hospital. . We are seeking a full time clinical administrator to complement the administration team. Duties will include co ordination of referrals, booking appointments and supporting the day to day running of the service. Formatting and sending of clinical letters and uploading to clinical records, maintenance of clinical waiting lists using RIO – electronic medical records system, and other admin duties in accordance with the job description.
Successful applicants will need to be motivated and adaptable to working within a busy team and be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with competing time pressures in a calm and organised way. This position involves direct contact with service users on a daily basis and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
We are a dynamic, warm and welcoming team. High levels of support and supervision will be available to the successful applicant.
Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal to the organisation and external, including:
- Medical Staff
- Multidisciplinary Teams (Community or Inpatient)
- Services Users and Carers
- Health and Social Care teams
- Third sector/voluntary agencies
- Community groups and local authority provision
- Other statutory agencies e.g. Police, Ministry of Justice etc.
- Providing Secretarial support to named Medical Staff/management team.
