Job description
Are you looking to join a small, friendly team and work for an independent business in Winchester?
We’re looking for bright, cheerful and positive people who can give our customers a warm welcome and a high standard of service. We welcome applications from our wonderfully diverse community. Our motto is "Love, Truth, Beauty, Freedom" and we strive towards being an inclusive and safe space for our staff and customers.
Cabinet Rooms is a small café-bar, with a strong reputation for great coffee, classic cocktails, tasty food, interesting events and excellent customer service. We’re also responsible for a number of large events; such as Winchester Cocktail Week and Ginchester.
After a successful first five years in business, we've expanded and need to grow our team. We’re looking for full-time (five days per week) and part-time (weekends) Front of House staff.
As Front of House staff, you'll be responsible for welcoming customers, taking orders, making sure that they are well cared for during their stay and taking payment. It does get very busy, particularly at weekends, so you'll need to be able to work quickly and efficiently.
If you already have hospitality experience you probably know that teamwork is of the utmost importance and you'll be ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with general tasks to help your colleagues as well as closing the kitchen and bar down at the end of the night.
Hospitality is hard work and you will be kept busy at all times but you’ll enjoy being a part of a small team; looking after a mature, discerning clientele.
Due to the nature of this role, we are only shortlisting candidates who are 18+.
