What does this role involve?
Assist with the coordination and expediting of vendor deliverables- Follow-up on technical queries from vendors with the Sedgman engineering team.
- Monitor and report procurement activity progress
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain vendor data
- Tracking all vendor documentation
- Creating vendor data tracking system for all projects and maintaining expediting progress reports
- Assist with monthly client progress reporting and review supplier production schedules and progress reports to ensure that project timelines are met
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will be self-motivated, well organised with the ability to manage multiple work fronts in a busy environment. You will be able to think out-of-the-box and be the driver to find innovative solutions to trivial problems.
- Experience in vendor data expediting role preferred but not necessary.
- Ideally experience in document control or project administration in a project environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work with various stakeholders, engineering team and vendors
