About the Role
Our award-winning Food and Beverage Team have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef de Rang to join them in creating magical memories for our guests. This is an excellent opportunity based within our Swilcan Loft Restaurant, where we serve an eclectic international menu created with locally sourced Scottish produce, overlooking the Old Course golf course.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist our Restaurant Management Team in ensuring that all guests are provided with an efficient, courteous and personalized service
· Serve as a role model and coach less experienced team members
· Ensure the department is always ready for service and staff are fully conversant with the menu available
· Ensure familiar with composition of all dishes on the menu as per menu specification in order to be able to advise guests in the selection of food and beverage.
· Be continually aware of opportunities to increase sales through offering beverages, desserts, cheese, liquers and up selling high profit items.
· Support Management Team in organizational structure of the department and general tidiness
About You
You will be a sociable, friendly and enthusiastic individual who prides themselves on providing excellent customer service. You’ll also have strong attention to detail and communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team. Ideally, you’ll have recent working experience within a similar Food and Beverage role.
Salary
This is a permanent opportunity working 40 hours pr week over a flexible shift pattern, 5 days out of 7, which will be discussed during interview. A competitive salary of £25,126.40 is offered along with TRONC and a vast range of excellent employee benefits.
