The job role of a waiter/server;
Greet and welcome customers: The waiter is often the first point of contact with customers, and they are responsible for greeting them in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take and serve orders: Waiters take orders from customers, answer any questions they may have about the menu, and serve food and drinks to their table.
Upsell and promote menu items: Waiters may suggest menu items or specials to customers and encourage them to try new dishes or drinks.
Provide exceptional customer service: Waiters should be attentive to customer needs, provide timely service, and ensure that customers are satisfied with their dining experience.
Process payments: Waiters may handle cash or card payments and ensure that customers are billed accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation: Waiters are responsible for ensuring that their section is clean and organised, and that tables are set up properly for the next customer.
Collaborate with kitchen staff: Waiters work closely with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to customers.
Overall, the role of a waiter requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional.
Job Schedule: Friday to Sunday from 3:30pm to 12am
