The Immigration Advice Service is an international law firm, and we eat, sleep and breathe SEO. Our mission is to create a brand that becomes synonymous with all areas of law in every country we choose to compete in. As an SEO Executive, you will support our SEO Manager in achieving the business' vision of becoming a dominant player within the global legal sector by taking ownership of the websites and countries you are assigned to and contributing to the growth of the business through search engine marketing. You will also work closely with the editorial and link-building team to ensure well-optimised content and valuable backlinks.
Our ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in a similar position and a proven track record of successfully implementing small and large-scale SEO strategies.
Main Tasks:
As an SEO Executive, you will:
- Regularly perform on-page and off-page SEO audits and resolve technical issues to ensure assigned websites and directories adhere to SEO best practices.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
- Execute on-page optimisation techniques, such as content optimisation and meta tag updates
- Identify opportunities and propose projects to grow the company’s digital visibility.
- Research and plan content campaigns and projects in accordance with the department’s overarching objectives and strategy
- Collaborate with the editors and Lead editor to ensure approved content is accurate and well-optimised for search and conversions.
- Collaborate with the link-building team to utilise link-building resources to deliver projects and campaigns
- Monitor and report on organic search performance
- Keep up-to-date with industry news, trends and Google algorithm updates
- Anything else that can reasonably be expected to support the business in achieving its goals
The Essential Skills and Attributes Required:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of SEO
- Experience using Google Analytics and Search Consol
- Experience using SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and AHREFS
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Advanced WordPress knowledge is an advantage.
