Nando’s is embarking on one of the most exciting digital transformations in the UK right now, and we are looking for an SEO executive to join the team. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a real passion for SEO, organisation skills and a sound research methodology.
The exciting role supports the Senior SEO Manager where you’ll help to deliver an in-house SEO strategy that increased our presence and revenue through deploying the best technical and content approaches. Working hand-in-glove with the rest of the digital and ecommerce function to ensure we have a seamless approach to search and performance.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Support the Senior SEO Manager in excuting the SEO strategy that fits seamlessly into the overarching digital marketing approach.
- Monitor and report changes to demonstrate the impact of the organic strategy on performance and its integration with other channels
- Use Google Analytics/search console/BrightEdge/Screaming Frog/ OnCrawl to report on web performance and detect site issues proactively
- Audit our domains to ensure website properties are performing as they should be benchmarking against our competitors
- Perform keyword research in line with business needs and objective at brand and unbranded levels
- Support on driving core on-page updates across the website, through audits, gap analysis and on-page implementations
- Implementation of the Local SEO strategy, taking responsibility for ensuring accuracy across our site and multiple external listings
- Work closely with the ecommerce trading team to ensure key targets are being met and help the business understand the changes in traffic landing on site
- Communicate results across the business and work with with other marketing channels to assess the overall impact of digital marketing for the business
- Support & Implementation of both technical and content optimisations using our CMS and developer resource
- Working in collaboration with the copy team to optimse a variety of content and work with other teams that produce content to deliver a best in class strategy to increase our organic presence
- Support with tech to enchance SEO elements across our sites
- Currently operating under a hybrid working model supporting a blend of in-office and remote working (3 days per week in-office)

The candidate should possess / be:
- Minimum 1+ years experience in an SEO role incompassing technical and content
- Comfortable using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365
- Task orientated, and comfortable working to deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with the lastest industry news
- A positive, team player, happy to roll sleeves up and support the Digital Marketing Team to deliver world-class digital communications
- Be able to navigate cross-function projets, often working with multiple stakeholders
- Naturally calm under-pressure
- An understanding of the importance of technical SEO, comfortable carrying out technical audits
- Carrying out keyword research and reporting
- Comfortable carrying out content audits
- Perform competitor analysis
- Passionate about helping to understand ‘why’ and comfortable carrying out reports with large data sets
- Strong communicator
