Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Website and Digital Marketing Officer to join our mental health and learning disability Trust. You will be part of ambitious, creative and supportive Communications Team and have responsibility for the day to day management of the Trust’s websites.
Your role will also involve liaising with the Trust’s appointed developer and internal Digital department to lead on the continual improvement of the Trust public websites, making sure they are managed in line with best practice. You will support teams to plan and produce high quality content for these websites as well as other digital channels, including the intranet and social media. Experience with content management systems, SEO and analytics is essential as is knowledge and experience of making websites accessible. You should also have excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
The postholder will work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Communications Officer who leads on managing the Trust’s social media and intranet and will provide support when needed in managing these digital channels.
We’re looking for someone who is a proactive, flexible and a hard-working team player who can manage their own workload on a day-to-day basis to successfully meet deadlines. They should have an eye for detail and be good at building strong relationships with colleagues at all levels. The postholder will report to the Head of Communications.
- Day to day management of the Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust websites - making sure that they are managed in line with best practice
- Liaise with the Trust’s appointed website developer and internal Digital department to lead on the continual improvement of the Trust public website(s), and on the implementation of new functionality and innovations.
- Play a lead role improving the accessibility of the websites in line withinternational WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard
- Support the Communications team and services to plan and produce high quality website content in line with their strategic objectives, tailored to specific audiences and optimised for digital channels.
- Work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing and Communications Officer (social media and intranet) who leads on the Trust’s intranet and social media platforms providing support and cover when needed.
- Support the management and development of the Trust's brand and corporate identity across internal and external communications channels; undertake design work to deliver visual collateral to help communicate with and engage staff, patients and stakeholders.
