About the team

Operate Digital is the central function that creates and runs technology. We also transform the way our clients use technology in delivering assets to our clients across a wide range of business processes. Working with industry leading, alliance partners across architecture, development, and multiple other technologies, we interact with all technology platforms and provide tangible technology delivery at scale.

The Role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll work for Operate Digital’s Office of the CTO as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience. Your role will be varied and challenging, providing you with an opportunity to work on a variety of clients and services across a number of different sectors.

Skills and Experience

  • Agile Business Analysis experience from business case development through all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle

  • The ability to set direction and get buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders to proceed in a preferred manner.

  • Confidence in leading the discovery process and designing your analytical approach to suit the nature of the work and environment

  • Effective stakeholder management skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering optimal client solutions, bringing an entrepreneurial approach and mindset to business design.

  • Significant technical understanding of business analysis frameworks, benefits management,, business processes modeling, requirements analysis and functional decomposition

  • An interest in working in a dynamic environment gaining experience on a variety of different projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a team of Business Analysts, focussed on the Discovery and Design phases of our Agile delivery framework

  • Support our Line of Service (LoS) teams: Consulting, Risk, Tax, and Deals, by helping to navigate and convene the capabilities our clients need

  • Collaborating with Business teams and tech resources to evaluate processes and make recommendations with regard to their potential and suitability for automation

  • Analysis of new business propositions including business case development, defining and eliciting business requirements and shaping the scope for delivery

  • Supporting the collaboration and transition of business propositions to Operate’s delivery and operation teams

  • Championing the use of agile and design thinking methods to drive innovation, continual improvement and solve complex problems

  • Supporting digital transformation programmes aimed at scaling our business through efficiencies and new service offerings

  • Acts as the Proxy Product Owner in driving automation candidates through the delivery process

  • Ensure appropriate measures are in place to support the automated solution – People, Process, and Technology
