Job Title: Senior Key Worker
Location: Doncaster
Salary - £24,024 - £39,010+ per annum
Contract: Permanent: 42 hours per week Monday to Friday - between 8am and 5pm. 1 weekend per month only.
Optional additional hours available - with two evening and two sleeps a week you could be earning £39,010 per annum or more! Safe Haven offers a market leading rate of £89.10 per sleep.

The Role:
Safe Haven Accommodation specialise in providing a range of supported accommodation and supported living services for semi-independent Looked After Children from the age of 16+.
We are looking for Senior Key Workers to join our friendly team who will lead by example and provide safety, support, care, guidance, nurture and a secure base for the children and young people that we support.
You will take a lead role in your placements, working predominantly across 1 or 2 homes, establishing positive routines, creating a great living environment, shaping the placements, and achieving positive outcomes.
You will ensure risk assessments are being adhered to, carry out supervisions with your team, ensure comprehensive records are being kept and attend general professionals meetings, amongst other duties.
These roles are fantastic springboards to progression and career development within Safe Haven.

The ideal candidate will:
Have relevant experience working with young people aged 16-18
Be able to build positive relationships with young people
Lead by example to a team
Have good communication skills written and verbal
Have a good understanding and awareness of safeguarding issues
Be able to stay calm in challenging situations
Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people
Feel comfortable both lone-working and with other team members
