We are currently recruiting for a Senior Supply Chain Sustainability Specialist who will report to the Supply Chain Sustainability Manager (EMEA). You will be based in our newly redesigned UNIQLO EU office in London.
You will work closely with the Supply Chain Labour Management team to deliver FR’s supply chain sustainability strategy and goals. You will be assisting in managing human rights due diligence activities and supporting global initiatives.
What you will be responsible for
Implementing human rights due diligence processes to address human rights risks in supply chains across the EMEA region, including managing FR’s audit cycle
Using FR’s audit system to input audit data, log information, follow up on improvement actions and identify risk patterns
Building strong relationships with the broader sourcing team, suppliers, and third-party partners to support the delivery of FR’s human rights due diligence processes
Creating reports, presentations and updates for the SSC (store support centre) and regional teams
Supporting external reporting for FR’s website, annual reports, and other reporting as required
Supporting marketing, communication and community activities related to sustainability at both corporate and local levels
Responding to internal and external requests for information about supply chains.
Building knowledge on ethical trade and human rights issues, EU legislation and training internal teams
Supporting strategic projects and workstreams, for example, FR’s grievance mechanism and responsible purchasing practice etc
Contributing ideas and feedback to continually develop FR’s operations
Completing administrative tasks when required
Candidate’s Profile
Experience
3-4 years of experience in labour and human rights, ethical trade in supply chain or related field
Experience within a fashion retail company or sustainability consultancy is preferred, but not essential
Skills
Social compliance skills are preferred, but not essential
Fluent in English and any additional language(s) would be a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact and work effectively at all levels within the business
Strong time management skills
Research skills and ability to collate data and information for accurate reporting
Problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to identify risks

Willingness to travel for work, at least 2 times a month to production countries, including Italy, Turkey, Peru and Asia
