We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager in the EU Last Mile Fleet Procurement and Capacity Team, to help us tackle re-marketing our assets at the end of their time in our fleet. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the rapidly growing Amazon Logistics organization, in a scalable and cost effective way. The Last Mile initiative is a highly visible program (internally and with our customers) and plays a vital role in enabling the success of our Delivery Service Providers (DSP).
In this role you will lead the relationship, roadmap, and negotiations with fleet supply chain partners across Europe to drive both building our capability for re-marketing, but also the smart use of re marketing across, as a key lever within our world class supply chain. You will develop the negotiating strategy for the products or services, and the successful implementation and launch of the solutions and build out the resources needed.
To be successful you must be able to dig into seemingly complex business problems, challenge the status quo as needed, by bringing both innate curiosity, a natural inclination to invent and simplify, and a data-driven ability to influence other leaders.
The position can be located in London, Luxembourg, Munich, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid or Milan.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the EU wide remarketing relationships with existing fleet supply chain partners
- Collaborate across the various organizations (Fleet Planning, Operations, Product Management, etc.) to ensure business objectives are met.
- Develop key metrics, reports and data analytics to enable continued program growth and scaling, drive cost improvements identify areas of improvement for the operational performance and support from our suppliers
- Partner with legal and finance to ensure and develop the positions and contract developments needed to execute
- Set up scalable and reliable ways to measure success and mechanisms to detect issues before they become risks
- Lead negotiations of contracts, including financial recovery projections, service, quality and customer offer
- Develop the roadmap and prioritize products, services and projects, including geo-expansion
- Assess and mitigate risk to the solutions you own including re-marketing
- Proactively engage with all areas of the organization to identify inter-dependencies, mutually beneficial goals, and influencing leadership
- Inspire and engage internal teams to ensure planned DSP demand is met with full transparency
- Prior experience in the fleet, sales, logistics, or business development space · Additional European languages · BRIT or BR
